1950 DODGE B-2 Series Truck

Old Dodge truck ready for transport.

The B-2 was a modified B-1 Series truck which in turn replaced the Dodge 1938-1947 T-/ V-/ W-Series truck.

Photo taken at the back yard of former Ford Museum Den Hartogh, Hillegom.
The Den Hartogh Ford Museum openend in 1997. It had the largest Ford car collection outside the US. The collection covered the period 1903-1949.
On December 1, 2016 the museum closed its doors. 217 cars were offered at a public auction on June 23, 2018 (the auction proceeds was 6.200.00).

DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:PEDALS AND LINKAGES

Description
The brake pedal to pedal pushrod prevailing torque nut attachment may not have been adequately tightened during assembly and may loosen in service. The nut could disengage from the pushrod bolt allowing the pushrod to separate from the pedal. This would cause the hydraulic braking system to become inoperative.

Consequence

Corrective Action
Dealer will retighten nut to specifications, at no cost to owner.
