Description
There may breakage of the internal mechanism of the heater fan switch on certain vehicles.  This can result in an incorrect electrical contact and overheating of the switch.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will replace the heater fan control switch free of charge.

Vehicle description: passenger vehicles.system: electrical; heater, fan switch.consequences of defect: overheating could result in a fire in the wiringharness, vehicle damage and serious personal injury.
