Description
The steering power cylinder clamps may crack when tightened.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will replace the defective steering power clamps at no cost to owner.

Vehicle description: trucks.system: steering; power cylinder clamps.consequences of defect: steering control may be degraded, and loss of vehiclecontrol and an accident could occur.note: impaired steering control may be indicated by erratic power assist,reduced steering wheel mobility, or locking of the steering wheel.  If any ofthese conditions occur, dealer should be contacted immediately.
