DEFECT #1 - FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:FILLER PIPE AND CAP

Description
The gas filler hoses installed on these vehicles may not be the correct type for continual contact with gasoline.  This causes deterioration of the gas fill hose.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Defective filler hoses will be replaced by the vehicle manufacturer.

Notes
Vehicle description: motorhomes.system: fuel; gas filler hose.consequences of defect: continued use of the inadequate hose would result ingasoline leakage.  In the presence of a source of ignition this could cause avehicle fire and personal injury.
