My son, George, behind the wheel of his 1993 Dodge d350 "dualie" pickup truck, driving at warp speed through one of the light tunnels at a local drive-thru holiday light display. Me - in the truck bed with camera on tripod which is strapped down, holdin' on and trying hard to maintain exposure and focus.

Description
Road wheels with oversized mounting holes may have been installed on the affected vehicles.  Oversized holes could cause inadequate tightening of the wheel to the hub, looseness of the wheel, and possible separation of the wheel from the vehicle.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Upon inspection, road wheels, including the spare, will be replaced with properly machined wheels.

Vehicle description: light trucks equipped with size 16.5 x 6.75 road wheels.system: suspension; road wheel attaching studs.consequences of defect: a loose wheel or complete detachment of the wheel couldcause loss of vehicle control and an accident.
