stuffed

While I bought the Heartbreaker partly for its looks, I did also buy it to haul, and since I got the starting sorted it's been earning its keep.

On this day it was stuffed full of an overstuffed chair and ottoman going to the donation center. All that furniture didn't quite fit between the wheel wells but we strapped it down and got the job done.

The old 4.0 sounds like a coffee can full of ball bearings, but it's been a ton of fun to drive with the 5 speed. It's not quick by any measure in stock trim, but it has a kind of obstinate stubbornness to it as it takes off. Think of it more like driving a tractor and you're in the right state of mind.

The lower body trim is slowly peeling off, the 35 year old adhesive tape has had its day. I'm on the fence whether I'm going to put it back or let it roll au natural.

Note the pan underneath, currently catching oil and transmission fluid. Hopefully one of those will be fixed next week when it goes to the shop for a new shift box.
