DEFECT #1 - STEERING:COLUMN LOCKING:ANTI-THEFT DEVICE

Description
Buzzer was not installed to remind driver to remove the ignition key when leaving the vehicle.  This does not meet the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard 114, theft protection.

Consequence


Corrective Action
The steering lock assembly and a buzzer will be installed.

Description
The fuel return hose is of insufficient length and can detach from the fuel pump.  Consequence of defect: this could result in an engine compartment fire.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Replace the fuel return hose with a longer one.
