a type also used by East Sussex. These brigade had the same chief officer at different times.

B528 URO served at Newcastle and Lichfield. In the late '90s Staffs got rid of their three Jeep 'light' rescue tenders when their frontline water tender ladders began to carry full rescue gear and became pump rescue ladders and rescue ladders.

Description
Certain of these vehicles may have been built with contaminated brake fluid.  Consequence of defect: this can adversely affect the entire braking system where complete brake failure can occur which could cause an accident.

Corrective Action
Flush and refill brake system with new hydraulic brake fluid.
