DEFECT #1 - EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL

Description
The o rings of the regulator assembly in the onan emerald and marquis brand generator sets can weaken and break when exposed to high ambient temperatures.

Consequence
If an ignition source is present, liquid propane gas (lpg) leakage could result in a fire.

Corrective Action
Owner notification will be conducted by onan.  Dealers will either remove the lpg regulator and replace it with a model not subject to rupture, or install a pre-regulator in the fuel system.

DEFECT #2 - SEAT BELTS:FRONT:ANCHORAGE

Description
Vehicle description: class a motor homes equipped with type 2 safety belts manufactured by amsafe.  The front seat belt retractor located next to the driver and passenger seats will not allow the belt to be extended so that it can be used.

Consequence
In the event of an accident, the driver or occupant would not be properly restrained increasing the risk of personal injury.

Corrective Action
Dealers will install new seat belt assemblies in these vehicles.

Notes
