2002 Acura 3.2 CL

The second generation CL coupe was introduced spring 2000 as an early 2001 model and now was a 2-door version of the bestselling second generation 3.2 TL sedan on the same platform (shared with the Accord, Odyssey and MDX), built on the same assembly line in Ohio and more or less the same from the front compartment forward (though the CL was slightly shorter and rear compartment space was smaller, being a "2+2" (and not a five seater) in the EPA compact class, with the TL as midsize). Offered both in standard and high performance Type-S models, the latter with a 260 HP variant of the 3.2 V6 (rated at 225 HP in standard configuration). The CL continued into 2002 unchanged, with revised 2003 models debuting early in March 2002.
