DEFECT #1 - SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:UPPER BALL JOINT

Description
Vehicle description: bus shells and coaches.  The ball joint sealing boot could be perforated allowing grease leakage.

Consequence
This condition could cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the boot.

Notes
Owner notification began august 22, 2000.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact prevost at 1-418-883-3391.  Also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
