DEFECT #1 - SUSPENSION:FRONT

Description
On certain passenger vehicles built on the ford mustang gt chassis, the anti-roll bar attachment bracket on the front strut can separate from the strut housing due to inconsistent welding.  

Consequence
If the broken bracket contacts the tire, sidewall damage can occur, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will install new struts free of charge.  The recall began on september 18, 2006.  Owners may contact roush at 1-866-307-6788.
