Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH is an automobile manufacturing company based in Buchloe, in the Ostallgäu district of Bavaria, Germany selling their own cars, based on BMW cars.

Alpina works closely with BMW and their processes are integrated into BMW's production lines, thus Alpina is recognized by TÜV as an automobile manufacturer,

The C1 2.3 version of the BMW (E30) Series is based on the BMW 323i and was available ex works 1983-85 although aftermarket kits remained available. The C1 2.3 was superseded by the C1 2.5 also from the 325.1 E30 class 3 Series for model years 1986-86 and subsequently by the 2.7 litre C2 2.7 again based on the 325i

This vehicle would then appear to be an aftermarket or replica C1 as it is firstly to new and secondly registered as a 320i

Description
Bmw of north america, llc (bmw) is recalling certain 2006-2011 323i, 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328xi, 330i, 330xi, 335i, 335xi and m3, 2007-2011 328i xdrive, 335i xdrive and 335is and 2009-2011 335d vehicles.  The wiring and electrical connectors for the system that controls air flow for the heating and air conditioning system may overheat.

Corrective Action
Bmw will notify owners, and dealers will replace the wiring and electrical connectors, free of charge.  The recall is expected to begin december 18, 2017.  Owners may contact bmw customer service at 1-800-525-7417.
