This is Aurora...our home for the next two months....I picked her up on August 4 and she now has 7,402km under her belt...we are currently 50 km west of Winnipeg, Manitoba and hope to be west and north of Edmonton, Alberta Sunday night where we will slow down and enjoy northern British Columbia, the Yukon and Alaska before turning south for a journey down the west coast to California...copious pics to follow... :o)

DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Description
Jayco, inc.  (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 entegra qwest and jayco melbourne and melbourne prestige motorhomes built on mercedes-benz sprinter chassis.  The rear part of the fender liner on the front axle may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.

Consequence
Loss of brake fluid can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Jayco will notify owners, and mercedes sprinter dealers will inspect and replace the brake hoses, and the fender liners will be modified, free of charge.  The recall began july 14, 2020.  Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

Jayco, inc.  (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 entegra qwest and jayco melbourne and melbourne prestige motorhomes built on mercedes-benz sprinter chassis.  The rear part of the fender liner on the front axle may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.

Consequence

Jayco, inc.  (jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2020 entegra qwest and 2019-2021 jayco melbourne and melbourne prestige class c motorhomes built on mercedes-benz sprinter chassis.  The operator's manual may not contain the correct information about how the automatic parking function (auto-p) operates.  

Consequence
If the driver relies on the auto-p function as described in the operator's manual, vehicle rollaway or movement may occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Jayco will notify owners, and mercedes-benz or freightliner sprinter dealers will provide the correct description of the auto-p function for the operator's manual, free of charge.  This recall began may 19, 2020.  Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137 or sprinter service at 1-877-762-8267.  The booklet with correct information is also available online, free of charge.
