DEFECT #1 - EQUIPMENT

Description
Equipment technology, l.l.c. (eti) is recalling certain 2020 eti etc 37 ih vehicles. Due to improper welds and the thickness of the steel boom tubes, the aerial platform may unexpectedly fall.
Consequence
An aerial lift platform collapse can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Equipment technology will notify owners and will replace the boom tubes on all affected aerial lift trucks at eti's facility, free of charge. The recall began september 9, 2020. Owners may contact eti customer service at 1-405-748-3841.

DEFECT #2 - STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS

Description
Equipment technology, l.l.c. (eti) is recalling certain 2018-2021 etc37ih and etc40ih vehicles. The weld between the outrigger assembly and the body's sub-frame assembly may be inadequate, which could result in failure of the aerial unit during use.
Consequence
Failure of the aerial unit can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Eti will inspect the welds, and repair or replace the rear shear plates, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on june 22, 2021. Owners may contact eti customer service at 1-405-748-3841.

Consequence
Unintentional bucket movement can increase the risk of injury and/or death.
Corrective Action
