Description
Porsche cars north america, inc. (porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2021 911 carrera and taycan vehicles. The pressure input rod connection on the brake booster may be loose and could detach.
Consequence
A detached pressure input rod will cause the brake pedal to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will repair or replace the brake booster as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed november 7, 2021. Owners may contact porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is amb9.

(porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2021 taycan turbo, taycan turbo s, taycan 4s, 2021 taycan, taycan cross turismo, taycan turbo s cross turismo, taycan 4s cross turismo, and taycan turbo cross turismo vehicles. The monitoring software can incorrectly detect a fault and shutdown the power train, causing a loss of motive power.
Consequence
A loss of motive power increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action

Porsche cars north america, inc. (porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2021 taycan vehicles equipped with an optional rear center seat. The center seat belt buckle wiring harness may obstruct access to the right rear seat lower child seat anchors, preventing a child seat from being properly secured. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 225, child restraint anchorage systems.
Consequence
An improperly secured child seat increases the risk of injury during a crash.
Corrective Action
