Description
Mack trucks, inc. (mack) is recalling certain 2023 lr battery electric trucks. During certain driving maneuvers, the power steering system may lose pressure, causing a loss of power steering assist.
Consequence
Loss of power steering assist increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
No remedy has been established at this time. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on may 30, 2022. Owners may contact mack's customer service at 1-800-866-1177. Mack's number for this recall is sc0434.
