Well its a good job i've long since stopped relying on Tesco for my new Matchbox fix as they continue to put out 2023 Case M over and over again for nigh on SIX MONTHS! With all of their stores apparently moving over to The Entertainer to tend to their toy aisles maybe the situation might improve slightly going forward!
I did feel compelled to rescue this Volvo XC40 on a recent trip as its one of those really great new castings which bizarrely never carried over into a new batch and has no sign of a new recolour coming up either! The crappier Hot Wheels equivalent is now on its third release!

DEFECT #1 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE

Description
Volvo car usa, llc (volvo car) is recalling certain 2024 xc40 vehicles.  A diagnostic error in the central electronic module (cem) software may cause the left rear turn signal indicator to not function.

Consequence
A nonfunctioning exterior turn signal may not notify other drivers of a turning vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
The cem software will be updated by a dealer or through an over-the-air (ota) update, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed february 16, 2024.  Owners may contact volvo car customer service at 1-800-458-1552.  Volvo car's number for this recall is r10256.
