Hicks campaign no n/a. Trailer. Jan. 1, 1960 thru aug. 1962. Possibilitythat induction hardening process in effect at north-american rockwell's axleplant may have created high residual stresses at inner bearing shoulder area. Stresses may turn into physical cracks under extended field service. Continueduse ofaxle after cracking may cause axle spindle to fracture. (correct byinspecting and replacing with new axle. )
