Globe campaign no n/a. Equipped with model tk trailer axles manufactured byrockwell standard co. Trailer. Possibility that induction hardening processin effect at north american rockwell's axle plant may have createdhigh residualstresses at inner bearing shoulder area. Stresses may turn into physicalcracks under extended field service. Continued use of axle after cracking maycause axle spindle to fracture. (correct by inspecting and replacing axlewherenecessary. )
