Mom with our detached single car garage in the background...same garage that coming home from school one day, after being dropped off by the school bus, to my surprise I found a live monkey inside. An escapee was all we could figure, or judging by it's bad behavior, a drive-by drop-off.

DEFECT #1 - FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:STORAGE:TANK ASSEMBLY:FILLER PIPE AND CAP

Description
On the involved vehicles there is a possibility that, if involved in a collision, the rider could impact the hinged fuel filler cap in such a manner as to actuate the release lever and open the cap.  This would result in a gasoline leak.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will replace the original fuel filler cap latch with a locking device, without charge.

Vehicle description: motorcycles.system: fuel; fuel filler cap.consequences of defect: leaking fuel, in the presence of a source of ignition,could cause a fire and serious personal injury.
