Police cars with power steering.possibility that the steering pitman arm ballstuds may fail due to improper heat treatment.if this condition exists andrepeated heavy cornering with the wheels turned in a fully stopped postion asencountered in heavy duty police pursuit work could result in loss of steering.(correct by inspecting and replacing with new pitman arm).
