Description
The emergency exit release mechanisms on the windows may require excessive force to operate.  This does not comply with federal motor vehicle safety standard no.  217, bus window retention and release.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will replace parts and make adjustments to reduce effort required to operate emergency exit mechanisms.

Vehicle description: buses.system: visual; emergency exit release.consequences of defect: in the event of an emergency, passenger evacuation maybe hindered by difficulty in operating emergency release mechanisms, andserious injuries could result.
