DEFECT #1 - VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:LINKAGES

Description
It may be possible for the lcf throttle rod bell crank to make contact with the radiator seal.  This can result in reduced engine performance and/or throttle return.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will modify the driver side radiator seal to eliminate the possibility of interference with the throttle rod bell crank.

Vehicle description: trucks equipped with manual transmission.system: throttle linkages and control; throttle rod bell crank/radiator.consequences of defect: an improper throttle return could result in loss ofvehicle speed control and an accident.

DEFECT #2 - SUSPENSION:MULTIPLE AXLE

Description
Some of the involved vehicles may have an insufficient weld fillet size on the rear axle suspension perches which may create a condition whereby the perches could break off.

Consequence


Corrective Action
The dealer will inspect and reweld those axle perches with insufficient welds, so that weld material extends completely to the edge of the perch.  This will be done at no cost to owner.

DEFECT #3 - VISIBILITY:WINDSHIELD

Description
On the involved vehicles, the windshield opening may be slightly oversized, which could allow the windshield glass to dislodge from its base.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will either build up the windshield opening with fiberglass or install a larger windshield, without charge.
