DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DRUM

Description
The front brake assemblies installed on certain vehicles may have been incorrectly assembled.  This defect will result in a degraded brake efficiency.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealer will inspect and, if necessary, install a complete new wedge assembly without charge to owner.

Notes
Vehicle description: trucks.system: service brakes; front air brake assembly.consequences of defect: this condition increases the distance required to stopthe vehicle.  An accident could result, especially in situations requiring aminimum stopping distance.
