Description
Vehicles may not conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 120, tire selection and rims for motor vehicles other than passenger cars. On some vehicles the tire and rim size designation and the cold tire inflation pressure were not furnished.
Consequence
Corrective Action
Dealer will install a corrected certification label over the existing label.

DEFECT #2 - EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS

Description
Vehicle does not conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 105, hydraulic brake systems. The brake warning light may not activate when the ignition key is rotated between the on and start circuit checking positions.
Consequence
Corrective Action
Owner will receive instructions to inspect for proper grounding of the ignition switch and to correct it, if necessary.

Without this check, the light couldbe out of order and there would be no way of knowing whether the brake systemis functioning properly.
