Description
External mounts, on which liquid propane gas tanks are fastened, could fail.

Consequence
Tank may fall causing damage to the tank and possibleleakage of propane gas, which could cause a fire or explosion.

Corrective Action
Repair tank mounting to prevent failure and install heat shield, as necessary.

A secondary heat shield collar may have been omitted from the furnace exhaust tube.

Consequence
Surrounding materials may become overheated and couldresult in a vehicle fire.

Corrective Action
Install a heat shield.
