DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Description
The front brake line has a possible assembly error in which there is insufficient clearance between the brake line and the power steering mounting bracket.

Consequence
Prolonged interference conditions may result in a failureof the front brake line, resulting in loss of braking power to the front wheels.

Corrective Action
Repair to assure minimum clearance between brake line and power steering mounting bracket; or, if necessary, install new brake line that will alleviate any possibility of interference.

Description
The incomplete vehicle document required by 49 cfr 568.4 has incorrect information concerning gvwr, front gawr, and tire pressures.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Replace erroneous labels with corrected labels.
