DX (Deluxe) model, starting with $16,518 suggested retail price. In its second model, the Previa had a driver's air bag and rear stoplamp added and now met all passenger car safety standards. ABS was now optional on DX models.

Description
Failure of a specific electronic component in the radios causes an electrical short circuit.

Consequence
If the failure occurs, it could result in a passengercompartment fire.

Corrective Action
Repair the radio.

Description
Certain windshield wiper components are subject to premature failure due to insufficient strength to function under high load levels.

Consequence
The windshield wiper assembly can fail and ceaseoperation entirely, resulting in reduced driver visibility in inclement weather.

Corrective Action
Install new wiper motors, certain wiper arm components, and retorque the wiper arm pivot.
