DEFECT #1 - SUSPENSION:FRONT:HUB

Description
The axle hub wheel studs can fracture.

Consequence
Stud fracture can result in th wheel and tire assembly to separate from the axle resulting in loss of vehicle control.

Corrective Action
Owners will be provided with replacement studs.

Owner notification:owner notification began may 12, 1997.  Note:owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact marmon-herrington at 1-800-227-0727.also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-800-424-9393.
