Buell Motorcycles is an American motorcycle manufacturer based in Grand Rapids, MI, founded in 1983 by ex-Harley-Davidson engineer Erik Buell. in 1993 Harley Davidson aquired 49 per cent of Buelll and in 2003 Buell became a wholly owned subsidiary of Harley-Davidson by 2003

The M2 Cyclone was produced from 1997 to 2003, positioning the model in the middle of the Buell range between the faster and lighter Lightning S1 and the heavier Thunderbolt S3 touring bike he M2 was only available with the 1,203 cc engine and five-speed transmission. The frame was tubular CrMo steel .

This machine was offered at the British Motorcycle Museum, H and H sale 2nd March 2019, selling for £ 4,950

DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC

Description
The front brake line hose can kink during front brake action.

Consequence
This condition can impede the return brake fluid flow and prohibit the immediate release of the front brake caliper pistons increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect and readjust the front brake line guide.
