Description

Vehicle description: equipment and hydraulic trailers.  U-bolts which attach the leaf springs to the axle beam were incorrectly tightened.

Consequence

This condition can cause the axle to misalign, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Foster will instruct owner to take their vehicles to an authorized dealer to have their vehicle inspected and adjustment will be completed at no charge to the consumer

Notes

Owner notification began september 28, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact foster at 1-717-765-9696.
