Description
Vehicle description: built bodies (freightliner mt-55 chassis).  The passenger seat only seat base anchorage does not comply with the requirements of fmvss no.  208, occupant crash protection.

Consequence


Corrective Action
A proper anchor base will be provided to owners of these vehicles.

Notes
Owner notification began march 15, 2000.owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact union city at 1-765-964-3121.  Also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
