1997 Chrysler Concorde

After twenty-five years, this Chrysler Concorde from the car's first generation was still going strong as of August 2022. The Concorde and its Dodge and Eagle stablemates, the Intrepid and the Vision, respectively, where there first examples of Chrysler's "cab forwarding design" inspired by the Eagle Premier, a car Chrysler had inherited from the American Motors/Renault partnership when it bought out American Motors in 1987.

This 1997 Concorde has a 3.5-liter V-6 with a four-speed automatic transmission. An all-new Concorde - and a Chrysler merger with Daimler -Benz - would be on tap for 1998.
