Old Ridge Route, Sandberg~ 4/08/07

Site marker along the Old Ridge Route- Image is one from a vintage photo postcard, c.1920s... Wildfires burn through this area frequently... None of the lodges that were built along this road still exist today. (We must have the busiest firefighters on the planet...)

DEFECT #1 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS

Posted on: 2004-01-30
Description
On certain motorhomes, an incorrect 250-amp ground fuse was used to protect battery ground.  The correct fuse was rated for 300 amps.

Consequence
The incorrect fuse could cause sudden loss of electrical power resulting in the vehicle stalling or inoperable lights increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the 250-amp ground fuse with a 350-amp connector.  Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact western rv at 509-457-4133.

Notes
Customer's can also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-dot (1-888-327-4236).
