DEFECT #1 - ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING

Description
On certain scooters with engine number (sf10k & sh10b) and embossed casting number (keb7-1), the engine mount can break.  

Consequence
If this breakage occurs, it could cause a rear suspension failure, which could result in a crash.  

Corrective Action
Kymco will replace the entire engine.  This recall began on july 22, 2004.  Owners should contact kymco usa customer service toll free at 1-888-235-3417.
