DEFECT #1 - SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:MASTER CYLINDER

Description
On certain 950 motorcycles, the rear brake may feel spongy or soft when applying the brake.  This could lead to improper rear braking.

Consequence
Improper rear braking could result in a crash.

Corrective Action
Ktm dealers will replace the rear brake system components.  The recall began on march 1, 2007.  Owners may contact ktm at 1-440-985-3553.
