DEFECT #1 - STRUCTURE:FRAME AND MEMBERS

Description
Terex south dakota, inc. (terex) is recalling certain model year 2013-2015 aerial devices and digger derrick trucks manufactured from june 3, 2013, through november 13, 2014. Due to an issue in assembly, the vertical cylinders and, by extension, the outriggers may drift when loaded.
Consequence
Outrigger drifting could result in the platform falling and seriously injuring platform occupants or bystanders.
Corrective Action
Terex will notify owners, and dealers will install the orifice and replace the affected valves, free of charge. The recall began on november 5, 2015. Owners may contact terex customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is sn619.

DEFECT #2 - EQUIPMENT

Description
Terex south dakota, inc. (terex) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 aerial devices and general digger derricks manufactured march 28, 2014, to march 1, 2015. In the affected vehicles, the fasteners that attach the turntable bearing to the carrier and the aerial or the digger derrick may fail.
Consequence
If the attaching bolts fail, the boom may fall, increasing the risk of injury to the operator or those nearby.
Corrective Action
Terex will notify owners, and dealers will check the affected bolts, replacing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall begin on march 27, 2015. Owners may contact terex customer service at 1-800-982-8975. Terex's number for this recall is sn616.
