DEFECT #1 - TIRES

Description
C & m trailers inc.  (c&m) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 76x16 utility trailers manufactured april 1, 2015, to december 4, 2016.  The tire placard on the affected vehicles my not have the tire and rim size information.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 cfr part 567, certification, and to federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 110, tire selection and rims.

Consequence
Missing information on the tire placard may result in the tires being replaced with ones of an incorrect size, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
C&m will notify owners and will provide a corrected tire placard, free of charge.  The recall began on february 21, 2017.  Owners may contact c&m customer service at 1-972-875-4258.
