In addition to providing weekly waste collection, Nitti/Lightning handled the snow removal in the neighborhood my family lived in during the 2000's. Equipment used was typically a couple of heavy-duty pickups and a container carrier rig. Roadway sanding was done with a roll-off truck carrying a modified bin fitted with a spreader attached to the back. (Unfortunately I never did get a good photo of that rig.)

DEFECT #1 - EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS

Description
Curbtender, inc. (curbtender) is recalling certain 2018 ford f-650 and qt06 vehicles with curbtenders equipped with whelen brake lights. Depending on the specific wiring of the vehicle, these brake lights may illuminate when the brake pedal has not been pressed.

Consequence
If the brake lights incorrectly illuminate, it can confuse other drivers, possibly increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Curbtender will notify owners and dealers will replace the brake lights, free of charge. The recall began february 4, 2020. Owners may contact curbtender customer service at 1-319-266-1721.
