Description
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2018-2019 forest river fr3 and georgetown recreational vehicles. The entry door latch may not engage fully, allowing the door to open unexpectedly while moving.
Consequence
If the entry door opens unexpectedly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective Action
The remedy for this recall is still under development. The recall is expected to begin june 4, 2018. Owners may contact forest river customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest river's number for this recall is 68-0700.

DEFECT #3 - EQUIPMENT

Description
Forest river, inc. (forest river) is recalling certain 2019-2020 georgetown and fr3 motorhomes. The slim-rack slide out mechanisms may activate unintentionally, moving the slide room in or out unexpectedly.
Consequence
If the slide-room extends or retracts unexpectedly, there is an increased risk of injury.
Corrective Action
Forest river will notify owners, and dealers will provide a new controller and switch for the slideout mechanism, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin july 31, 2019. Owners may contact forest river at 1-574-206-7600. Forest river's number for this recall is 68-0991.
