DEFECT #1 - TIRES:VALVE

Description
Wayfarer is recalling certain 2017-2021 wayfarer recreational vehicles. The valve stem extender may rub against the wheel liner, causing damage to the valve stem.
Consequence
A damaged valve stem can cause a sudden loss of tire pressure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Owners will be instructed to remove the wheel liners, free of charge. Wayfarer is working to develop a final remedy that allows the liners to be reinstalled. Owners were notified of the defect on september 1, 2021. A second notice will be mailed once a final remedy is determined. Owners may contact wayfarer customer service at 1-256-356-8661.
