DEFECT #1 - STRUCTURE

Description
Cfmoto powersports, inc.  (cfmoto) is recalling certain 2023 450ss motorcycles.  The telematics box (t-box) may fall onto the front steering forks, which can cause a loss of steering control.  

Consequence
A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the t-box holder, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed february 29, 2024.  Owners may contact cfmoto customer service at 1-763-398-2690.  Cfmoto's number for this recall is saf-2024-01.
