DEFECT #1 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING

Winnebago industries, inc. (winnebago) is recalling certain 2023-2024 vista, sunstar, and adventurer motorhomes built on f53 chassis. The wiring may have been incorrectly routed, damaging the forward-facing camera wiring.
Consequence
Damaged wiring can cause the camera to become inoperable, disabling active brake assist, lane keep assist, and auto high beams and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Dealers will reroute the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed october 11, 2024. Owners may contact winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535. Winnebago's number for this recall is 187.

DEFECT #2 - EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL

Winnebago industries, inc. (winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 sunstar, vista, 2022-2023 cambria, inspire, 2023 forza, 2024 minnie winnie, spirit, 2024-2025 porto and vita motorhomes. The led backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
Consequence
A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the cooktop control panel, free of charge. An interim notification letter was mailed june 25, 2024. A second final remedy notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. DEFECT #4 - EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS

Winnebago industries, inc. (winnebago) is recalling certain 2023 sunstar motorhomes. The tire information label incorrectly states the tire size and gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard number 110, tire selection and rims.
Consequence
Incorrect tire information could result in tires that do not meet gvwr specifications being installed, affecting vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective Action
Winnebago will mail owners a corrected certification label, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed may 1, 2024. Once the final remedy is available a second notice will be mailed. Owners may contact winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885.
