DEFECT #1 - FORWARD COLLISION AVOIDANCE: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Description
Jayco, inc.  (jayco) is recalling certain 2023-2025 entegra aspire class a motorhomes.  The camera control module may have been installed upside down and flush to the floor, which can allow it to overheat and prevent the camera image from displaying.  

Consequence
A camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.  

Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the camera control module, install two brackets, free of charge.  Owner notification letters were mailed june 7, 2024.  Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.  Jayco's number for this recall is 9903607.

DEFECT #2 - FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL:DELIVERY:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS

Description
Jayco, inc.  (jayco) is recalling certain 2024-2025 entegra anthem, aspire, and 2025 reatta xl motorhomes, equipped with cummins l9 diesel engines.  The remote fuel filter hose may separate from the fitting, causing a fuel leak and an engine stall.  

Consequence
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.  An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.  

Corrective Action
Cummins will replace the fuel hoses, free of charge.  Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed april 30, 2025.  Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.

DEFECT #3 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY:CABLES

Description
Jayco, inc.  (jayco) is recalling certain 2024-2025 entegra anthem, aspire, cornerstone, reatta, and reatta xl motorhomes.  The battery cables may not be the correct size, in the correct location, or they may be improperly tightened, which can cause an electrical short or allow the cables to overheat.

Consequence
An electrical short or overheating of the battery cables increases the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action
Dealers will inspect the battery cables, and repair or replace them as necessary, free of charge.  Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed august 30, 2024.  Owners may contact jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.  Jayco's number for this recall is 9903611.
