DEFECT #1 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:PROPULSION SYSTEM:FUSES, RELAYS, CONTACTS, AND SHUNTS

Description
Ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2025 f-150 full hybrid electric (fhev) vehicles.  The high voltage battery junction box may contain an incorrect fuse, which can fail and result in a sudden loss of drive power.

Consequence
A sudden loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.  

Corrective Action
Dealers will replace the incorrect 60-amp fuse with a 150-amp fuse, free of charge.  Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed april 14, 2025.  Owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332.  Ford's number for this recall is 25s29.
