Description

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2025 HUSK-e, e-TRIEVER, and 2022-2024 T-Series trucks. The bolts securing the upper steering shaft clamp may have been improperly tightened.

Consequence

The loose bolts can cause steering system components to separate, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action

Orange EV service will replace the upper steering shaft clamp bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed July 29, 2025. Owners may contact Orange EV customer service at 1-866-688-5223

Description

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Orange EV Husk-e terminal trucks. The high voltage short circuit protection system may have an inadequate fuse.

Consequence

In the event of a short, the fuse may open too slowly or not at all, increasing the risk of a fire.

Corrective Action

Description

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence

Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Corrective Action
