DEFECT #1 - STEERING

Description
The steering column sector shaft contains loose pins that may work out due to poor manufacturing.  As a result, the pins may lodge in the worm gear.  Steering could become impaired or inoperative in one or both directions.

Consequence


Corrective Action
Dealers will replace defective shaft kits with new improved kits.
